Voluntary Worker - 2020-2022

Are you bored and looking for a challenge? Our Watering Hole church plant, based in Hampshire, United Kingdom really need help in working with the indigenous majority population in an area of approximately 23,000 people where there are no established SDA churches.

Statistics show that only 1 in 100 people in the UK consider themselves Christian in any way, so there is a lot of work to be done. The Watering Hole church plant have a volunteer opportunity for a married couple who are passionate about God and possess leadership qualities. Skills and interests in the following would be essential:

  • Working with parents and young children
  • Running children’s and youth clubs
  • Giving Bible studies to those within the community

Proven ability with music, sports, emergency medicine, nursing, catering and church treasurer or banking experience would be valuable.

In return for your volunteering, you will receive free accommodation and your utility bills will be taken care of by the South England Conference.  We are inviting you to join us and become a part of our church family.  You will be based at 7 Benbow Gardens, Calmore, Southampton, SO40 2SX.  This full-time volunteering assignment is available for two years, commencing May 2020.

The successful applicant is required to be a willing team player and practicing baptised member of the Seventh-day Adventist church.  The annual personal allowance will amount to £3,600.00.
