For the first time in the history of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the UK, the Portuguese-speaking community held a Day of Fellowship with over 800 attendees, under the theme "United in Gratitude and Worship"

Organised by CEPE (Portuguese Speaking Advisory) and led by Maria Elisa de Batista with a dedicated team of volunteers. The event held at the House on the Rock London, on June 15th, welcomed participants from Manchester, Leeds, Swindon, Oxford, Peterborough, Bournemouth, and Ireland, as well as all six Portuguese-speaking churches in London—Central, South, Northwest, East, Wembley Park, and Watford.

The joyful occasion provided a platform for fellowship and revival, with participants encouraged to share their faith and hope in the imminent second coming, as presented by guest preacher Pastor Jeferson Lorenzi from Brazil.

A highlight of the day was the decision by 10 individuals to get baptised in the coming months, marking an incredible blessing and joyful experience. Singer Sarah Zav captivated the audience with her songs of praise, adding to the day's inspirational atmosphere.

The congregation showed full engagement throughout the day, particularly when hundreds of copies of "The Great Controversy" were handed out to be shared with friends and members of the Portuguese-speaking community in the UK.

The event was advertised and broadcast on social media, with continued viewership and shares on Instagram @adventistasnaeuropa.

Participants expressed their gratitude to God for this spiritually uplifting opportunity to reignite their mission, engagement, and fellowship. They cherished the time and space to connect and worship with those of the same culture and language.

Pastor Clebson Braga, president of this community, expressed his gratitude for the massive support that the event received and he gave all praises to God for entrusting us to be his co-workers undertaking missionary work to be the light and salt of the Earth wherever we are.
