Pastor Juan Carlos Patrick is always welcome at Watford Town and Sabbath 11th March was no exception. Under the title "Spirituality: A Guide for Teens" his morning message centered around the fact that you should have God involved in all aspects of your life.
The afternoon workshop entitled "Jesus The Teenager: A Practical Guide to Being Spiritually Healthy"dealt with 4 areas of being spiritually healthy. The 4 areas were Physical, Emotional, Social, and Spiritual. The teens and members of the church engaged in lively discussions and came up with practical ideas of how to help individuals suffering from anxiety issues to those struggling with feelings of suicide and depression.
The teens were challenged and changed by this special day for them and thank Pastor Juan Carlos for coming even though he was not feeling 100% well.
This presentation rounded off a series of topics being addressed by the Youth department for the 1st quarter of 2023, with mental health and physical health being the other 2 topics.
