Sharon Mattis, a qualified fitness instructor, recently joined the staff at the British Union Conference (BUC) office as the Receptionist replacing Pauline Allcock, who left the organisation to join the Welsh Mission as Secretary to the President.
"I love the beautiful, God-blessed environment of the BUC," said Sharon. "The grounds are very calming, and the staff are helpful and supportive. I have been embraced with kindness and love."
Prior to joining the BUC, Sharon was the receptionist and a departmental secretary at the North England Conference. She holds a BA (Hons) in Housing and has worked with disabilities, domestic violence, and refugees. She is also a qualified hairdresser, beauty therapist and holds certificates in both fashion and interior design. She is passionate not only about exercise and fitness but prayer.
