Do you have children? Grandchildren? Do you know any children? I’m sure you do, as children are all around us! And it’s fantastic to have them as part of our church community. Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” (Matthew 19:4, NLT)
Following the call of Jesus to embrace children as an integral part of our faith community, the Ranelagh Adventist Church in Dublin, Ireland, produces a 30-minute Kid’s Church each week, which is premiered on YouTube every Saturday (Sabbath) at 11.15am.
Led by the Children’s Ministries Leader, Petar Popivanov, and a dedicated team of volunteers, Kid’s Church has continued to minister to, and reach children, not only in the local church, but also across the Irish Mission and further afield throughout the covid-19 pandemic. Designed for all children up to the age of around 12 years, the “Dig into the Bible in 1 Year” programme is presented by both adults and children, and includes songs, prayers, a feature story, arts & crafts and an object lesson.
So, those children you know … why not let them know about Kid’s Church. I’m sure they’d enjoy it!
