Since all of this has happened, we are locked in our houses, most places are closed and socially, we're very limited. I wanted to see what I could do at home to keep Praising God but with others. After thinking about it for a wee while and about what I spend a lot of time doing is, music, playing guitar and trying to sing.
So I thought about doing a Live Worship on instagram, but I needed a singer as I ain't the best, so I got my sister, Shannon, on board and now ever Friday evening 7pm.
We do a little worship session on instagram to bring in the Sabbath. We do it because we want to Praise God but it is also fun, it is also a good way to keep church vibes active though this pandemic and to get to talk to people on the LIVE chat and or video call.
Instagram is used by majority of the youth and we have a youth page for Ireland on which the LIVE is done. Hence why we use instagram. This is the tag for the account: @adventistyouthirl
I have plans for the future with more creative ways to make the LIVE on instagram better. I appreciate all the support so far for this from all over the world and thank you very much for anyone who tunes in.
