Death of Pastor Malcolm James Watson

Death of Pastor Malcolm James Watson

Jacques Venter (BUC Associate Executive Secretary)

We were saddened to learn of the death of Pastor Malcolm Watson on 29 November 2019. Malcolm was born on 23 November 1953 in Watford, Hertfordshire. It was in Scunthorpe that Malcolm met Naomi Anjole Sabre and on 20 February 1986 they covenanted their love for each other through marriage. Their union brought about two children, James and Ben.

Malcolm began his employment within the British Union Conference in 1981 as Intern Pastor for the North England Conference (then North British Conference). He served within the North England Conference until September 2010.

Although Malcolm turned very ill not long before passing away, he will be remembered for his passion and enthusiasm to serve the Lord in any way he could throughout his life. We now look forward with his family, to Christ's soon return and that glorious resurrection day.

The funeral service will take place on Friday, 20 December 2019 at 11:00 am in the Chelmsley Wood Seventh-day Adventist church. Donations will be collected on the day, in lieu of flowers, for HELP International (Health, Education and Literacy Programme International).
