Huddersfield Cross Kitchen provide free meals for people in the community on a Wednesday from 12 pm to 2 pm. It is very popular; so, when we have a special event people from the surrounding areas are comfortable to attend, join in the singing, listen to encouraging words and then share a meal with members

The Jo Cox Foundation was set up in 2016 to identify, acknowledge and celebrate all groups and organisation who forge meaningful partnerships and make a tangible difference in their communities.

Huddersfield Adventist church has also been raising funds to support the work of the Forget Me Not Children's Hospice over the past 5 years.

Forget Me Not Children's Hospice supports children with life-shortening conditions, plus their entire families. They help hundreds of children, and their families, through their 'Hospice at Home' service and through the hospice building at Russell House based in Brackenhall, Huddersfield.

Huddersfield Adventist Community Services presented a cheque for £1,100.00 to the Forget Me Not Children's Hospice on the afternoon of Sabbath 26 January 2019. The proceeds came from a very well-attended Christmas banquet that was held at the Brackenhall Community Centre in Huddersfield on 2 December 2018.
