Age Range: To participate in the AYI Sports Day, the age range is between 10 upto 35 years old, as the event is organised by the Youth Ministry.
Team Division:
Basketball: 5 players with 2 substitutes in a team
Football: 5 players with 1 or 2 substitutes in a team.
Each individual church has the opportunity to create teams for every game. In cases where a church does not have enough players to form a complete team, they can collaborate with other church youth.Alternatively, if there are youths who need support to participate in the games, they can be included in a team. The game organiser is also available to assign individuals to appropriate teams.
Example: If Church A has sufficient players, they can compete against other teams or players. However, if Church A lacks players, they can collaborate with other interested churches to compete against other teams or players.
Eligibility to Participate: Football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and athletic games are open only for participants aged 10 to 35 years old.
To ensure fair competition, each game is divided into three age categories:
Children (10 to 13 years old),
Teens (13 to 18 years old),
Senior Youth (18 to 25 years old)
Young adults (25 to 35 years old)
However, skilled individuals who are interested in competing in different age groups are allowed to do so.
Team Information: Once your church/group has formed a sports team, please inform each participant to register their detail through the jot form and let the event organisers know who is in your team and what games they are participating in.
Registration Fee: The registration fee for each participant is 10 euros to take part in any games. Kindly make the payment in cash at the event.
Attendee: If you are just an attendee to watch the games then you don’t have to pay. But if you are playing in any sports then you have to pay.
Food information: Kindly bring your own food. There won’t be any food sales. However, there will be a tuck shop where you can buy drinks and food.
