The Week of Prayer is a special time of the year when church members around the world get together to follow a topic to pray about.

People can follow the Week of Prayer readings from home, with friends at someone's house or meet at church.  This year's topic is "Growing Disciples"

Being a disciple begins by following Jesus—spending time with Him through Bible study and prayer, following where He leads. Through the pages of Scripture we too can sit at the feet of Jesus and listen to His teachings.

When we “have been with Jesus” (see Acts 4:13), we are then ready to accept His call to “go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matt. 28:19, 20).

You are warmly invited to spend special time with Jesus during this Week of Prayer, as we consider carefully what it means to follow Him.
