Role

The Communication Department is responsible for all official communication and public news releases for the Adventist Church in the UK & Ireland. It provides resources and training for local churches and for leaders in the Conferences and Missions. It aims to promote good internal and external communication. Media used include:

  1. An electronic newsletter (BUC News),
  2. The web
  3. Video releases,
  4. Radio and television.

The department runs a number of training programmes and also manages the Adventist Media Centre (UK).

Resources

The Communication department has an array of resources available to assist local churches communicate their message more effectively.  These include assisting with providing a local church website, sending news-releases to the local or church media, promotional items for use in exhibitions and community events, and a variety of training materials and handouts.  Please explore the resources available from the menu on your right.
