Wederly Aguiar is the Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer for the British Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He is an experienced and highly motivated individual who previously served in financial leadership roles as the Associate Treasurer at the Trans-European Division for over seven years. Before that, he worked at the South England Conference for nine years.
Wederly is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA), with an educational and work-related background in upper management roles. He is also a Trustee for a group employer pension scheme, having gained broad access, experience and knowledge in the pensions and investments industries.
Wederly values working as part of a team to nurture a positive working environment. Past experiences have contributed to the development of technical competence, complemented by a commitment to professional values of transparency, accountability, and professional ethics.
Wederly is inspired daily by his wife and their three children and enjoys spending quality family time with them.
