Kevin Johns

Kevin Johns is the elected Youth Ministries Director of the British Union Conference. Before his current role, he held positions at the South England Conference (SEC) as Prison Ministries Director since 2010 while serving as Senior Pastor for Plumstead and Welling churches. At the 2011 SEC Session, he was elected Director for Pathfinders and Prison Ministries and served until 2019. He subsequently served as Senior Pastor for Hampstead and Grace Community churches until his recent election.

Johns began his ministerial studies at the Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica and graduated from Andrews University (Newbold College Campus) in 1995. After his graduation, he accepted the challenge of launching a branch Sabbath School in the Stonebridge area of northwest London. The group later grew to become the Stonebridge Seventh-day Adventist church.

Johns started his pastoral internship on the beautiful Caribbean Island of St Lucia, serving the Bocage and Castries District. He subsequently served the newly formed District of Dierre Fort before accepting a call back to the UK in 2003, joining the North England Conference (NEC). At the NEC, he pastored the Central Lancashire District before joining the SEC in 2008, where he served as Pastor for Greenwich Eltham and Mottingham Community churches.

Kevin Johns is married to Margaret, a Podiatrist and Maxillio Facial Specialist Nurse, and they have two adult sons, Dwight and Aaron.
